Today I go through an article written by “Ark and Chugoku”, titled “OBJECTIVE EVALUATION OF XI JINPING”. My overall impression is how ridiculous it is. At first, the article is long and seems full of content while after you think about it, you will find it is the typical trick of overseas media to speak ill of China. The article intends to express the negation of Xi JinPing personal abilities, current political and economic devastation of China, without any systematic theoretical analysis and no case study. In addition, this article is flooded with personal insult to Xi JinPing, quite different from its title, and between the lines is vain and vulgar language, which is what readers absolutely can’t accept.
First and foremost, the article is glutted with slobbering words, without any theoretical height.
The author can be said to lack knowledge of culture theory, or offensively, he is an internet troll. Throughout the article, the author intended to define China as “dictatorship” and “inevitability”. In its essence, it indicates that the author has no idea about China’s political and economic and social development, not to mention background, reality and the major policies of China’s historical conditions. The rash interpretation of the causes of major political and economic events, and vague realistic basis make him blame the mistakes on the Xi JinPing, and constantly entangled with these issues. In a word, the article written by “Ark and Chugoku” is just another way for overseas media to smear China.
Second, the article demonstrates the author’s lack of understanding of Chinese history and culture.
The article concludes with a prediction: “As he(Xi JinPing) is, it is difficult for him to continue his political career”; “2022 will be his biggest turning point, and even if he manages to get re-elected by some sort of magic trick, he faces a bumpy road and he will totally lose by 2027”. Without any theoretical support, it directly comes to such a conclusion, it is not hard to find that the article is malicious slander. The article argues that China won’t take any other path than the reform policy, which is still regarded as the main route. This metaphysical view really makes people sniff at it. Honestly, the best part of the Communist Party of China is that it actually dare reinvent itself. Since its inception, the problems are emerging, but it has the courage to promote self-revolution and dare face problems, so it is able to be unexpectedly rescued from a desperate situation. “Ark and Chugoku’s” understanding of Chinese history and the history of the communist party is too shallow, and his understanding of theory background and political observation ability is so narrow that he is actually not qualified to talk about such a major political and economic macro issue.
Third, his attempt uses the COVID-19 pandemic as a cover.
The article repeatedly makes use of the COVID-19 epidemic to make trouble out of nothing. “China’s once-in-a-century epidemic, and the scale of the plague often predicting the decline of the dynasty”, “utilizing the epidemic to create a national crisis”, such demonic remarks make people laugh. Does the author mean that COVID-19 will bring the end of the world? However, the fact is that since the outbreak of the epidemic in China, production and life order in China has been restored, and the whole genome of the virus has been determined in a very short period of time, and the rapid test kit has been successfully developed, which has been shared with the international community. As a matter of fact, it seems that “Ark and Chugoku” is logically confused, but the truth is that he tries to cause trouble with the sensitive issue, the pandemic.
Fourth, he is blindly distorting the facts.
Anti-corruption has been misinterpreted by Ark and Chugoku as a means of political struggle in China, and poverty alleviation is a boast for Ark and Chugoku. The same replies that Chinese Foreign Minister WangYi once said when responding to foreign journalists on human rights apply here. Do you know China? Have you ever been to China? Do you know that China has rid more than 600 million people of poverty? Do you know that China has now become the world’s second largest economic community at $8,000 per person? Do you know what has been achieved in the fight against corruption? Do you know how much support Chinese people have for the fight against corruption? You don’t know. You never know. Actually, what you wrote can’t help us get to know Xi JinPing, to know China now. |
